We service the OEM market including agricultural, mining, and other industries. Our in-house processes include forgings, hot / cold stampings and weldments.

Our Company is growing and we are currently looking for a Maintenance Tooling & Manufacturing Coordinator

**Position Overview**

The Maintenance Tooling and Manufacturing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating contractors, scheduling preventive maintenance tasks, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring the timely completion of daily maintenance work orders. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to optimizing manufacturing operations.

**Note: This is a 1 year contract with the opportunity for a permanent position.**

**Responsibilities**
- ** Contractor Co-ordination**
- Responsible for contacting & scheduling all outside contractors on the approved list.
- Check in contractors, audit work in progress, review work with maintenance manager & contractor for completeness
- Review invoices and approvals before submitting to AP for payment (confirming hours worked with sign-in sheets on an audit-basis)
- Daily audit(s) to match sign-in sheets with work performed
- ** Annual Contractor Pricing Review**
- Quarterly review of contractor hours worked and challenge high-hour contractors annually with a reduced hourly rate.
- ** Preventative Maintenance Coordinator**
- Assign PM work to maintenance staff - track PM completion % and manage to improve
- Work with manufacturing & planning for machine availability
- Co-ordinate outside contractors for larger PMs
- Load in new PM schedules on new machines & update PMs on existing machines as needed
- ** Spare Parts management**
- Obtain quotes on new spare parts
- Manage inventory of spare parts - max & min levels through MaintainX
- ** Daily Maintenance & Toolroom Work Orders**
- Attend daily morning manufacturing meeting as Maintenance/ Toolroom contact
- Follow up on daily work orders to ensure timely completion and parts availability

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in maintenance coordination or related field
- Mechanically inclined applicants are considered an asset
- Strong computer skills
- proficiency in Excel is required. Must be able to learn new software quickly
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations.
