What You Will Do
Reporting to the Director - Planning & Approvals, you will be responsible for the administration, coordination and acquisition of various municipal and provincial permits and approvals for TTC's Capital Program.
The Applications Technician also performs administrative support duties to assist with the Planning and Approvals section. This will
- include tracking permits/approvals related data from various sources, for use in the preparation of monthly reports and correspondence which may require formatting into text, spreadsheets, graphical and other illustrative material.

You will also be participating in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program.
What Qualifications Do You Bring?
Completion of a college diploma or university degree in Architecture, Planning, Engineering or related discipline, along with relevant work experience in a transit and/or transportation planning environment; or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, permits, and approvals processes affecting capital work projects.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently review and comment on design submissions relating to permits and approvals.
Ability to maintain well documented records for progress commitments and action items.
Sound judgement; excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Good oral and written communication skills, and analytical ability for the purpose of obtaining, and interpreting the accuracy and completeness of data provided.
A valid Class G driver's licence for the Province of Ontario and access to own vehicle.
