**About the Opportunity**

LinkPo Incubator and Ventures Inc. is seeking dynamic and innovative Research Scientists to join our **Canadian Talent Program (CTP)**. This program aims to bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and commercial success. Through this initiative, talented researchers are connected with established businesses, both Canadian and global, to secure funding and support for research commercialization.

We work with a network of highly vetted enterprises and research labs, providing a structured pathway to develop and scale innovative research products. As a Research Scientist in this program, you may be recruited by these organizations to collaborate on mutual research interests and commercial ventures.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with LinkPo’s member enterprises to develop mutual research interests.
- Contribute to the development of intellectual properties and/or research product commercialization.
- Assess the commercial viability of research findings and propose strategies for market introduction.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers and team members within partner enterprises or labs.
- Participate in cross-disciplinary projects, leveraging expertise to solve complex, real-world problems.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in relevant STEM fields and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders and enterprise partners.
- Represent LinkPo in professional networks, conferences, and industry events to promote the program’s goals and achievements.

**Requirements**:

- **PhD** in one of the following STEM fields**:Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Material Science, Marine Sciences, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence, Environmental Science, or related disciplines.**:

- A **strong record of publications** or experience in business development related to technology commercialization.
- At least **three years of work experience** in a technical or managerial role.
- **Preferred**: Experience in commercializing research products or developing intellectual properties.
