**Proposals Manager Key Responsibilities**:
The Proposal Manager provides leadership and support on a variety of business development assignments, ranging from highly strategic proposals to smaller proposals and qualification statements. Responsible for accurate, professional-grade, inspiring proposals that convert leads to new clients.

- Exhibit a confident and proactive approach to managing proposals and can interact with all levels of management and professionals.
- Possess the ability and flexibility to work overtime to meet proposal deadlines as required.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Lead and coordinate evaluation and qualification process of all inbound opportunities.
- Monitor public bids portals for relevant corporate opportunities.
- Ensure the successful development of compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals, RFIs, pre-qualifications (RFSQ), and EOIs through effective cross-functional collaboration across internal teams, other business lines or outside partners/suppliers.
- Manage the RFP response process and resources from receipt through the assessment/draft/ edit/proofread/submission/follow phases.
- Organize and participate in proposal strategy meetings.
- Analyze proposal requirements to plan and craft responses.
- Develop and maintain a proposal outline/deliverables document. Schedule and facilitate the contributions of all involved parties.
- Write and edit proposals to develop a professionally produced proposal within customer-defined timeframes and requirements.
- Assist Subject Matter Experts by gathering and sorting information, determining logical flow and adding support assets where applicable.
- Coordinate information from various disciplines/sources so submissions have a uniform and coherent appearance & flow.
- Format, assemble & submit documents on time, maintaining quality control.
- Manage, maintain, organize and systematize the Corporate Proposals Library ensuring accurate and efficient document control.
- Provide recommendations on new ideas to streamline processes and responses to maintain a best-in-class response repository.
- Overtime as required.

**Experience & Education**:

- University degree or college diploma (preferably in marketing or communications, social sciences, or business)
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role - experience working in Engineering Consulting, Construction or a Professional Services firms in proposal development is preferred.
- Outstanding MS Powerpoint and MS Word skills
- Strong experience in writing in a professional, corporate environment
- PMP designation a definite asset
