**Part-time Medical Intake Assistant - Independent Contract Position**

Medylex Corp. provides Independent Medical Examination (IME) administrative and support services to physicians across Canada.
- Medical chart organizing and indexing.
- Working with medical specialists (I.e., Physiatrist, Neurologist, Psychiatrist, GP, etc.)
- As an IME assessment observer/chaperone and scribe/note-taker.
- Transcribing physician dictations.
- Work Location (Hybrid): 50% of the work can be completed independently from home/office and 50% of the work will take place in person with our medical specialists at various clinic locations throughout Toronto, _**GTA and other parts of Ontario**_._
- Working Hours are Flexible: Medylex is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 PM (open one Saturday/month in Toronto)_
- Chiropractor
- Chiropractic student/intern
- International Medical Graduation
- International Physician
- Naturopath
- Naturopathic student
- Or have an undergraduate degree in medical sciences (i.e., Kinesiology, Psychology, Human sciences, etc.)
- A strong command of the English language.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence interacting with medical specialists.
- Proficient typist.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Word.
- Joining the Medylex team provides students and professionals the opportunity to keep their skills current and head in medicine. Working very closely with out network of medical specialists has proven to be a great fit both for our practicing specialists, health care professionals, medical students and recent graduates._

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-27 per week

**Salary**: $23.36-$37.55 per hour
