**Job description**:
Orano Canada is a leading producer of uranium in Canada, working to power the future with clean energy Our McClean Lake mill is the most technologically-advanced mill in the world for the processing of high-grade uranium ore without dilution. Our aim is to better define known deposits and discover new ones that will make it possible to supply our McClean Lake Mill for years to come. In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze information, assist in designing new databases, and integrating GIS with other technologies. What you’ll accomplish:

- Manage and administer ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS environments
- Develop and update spatial databases and ensure data integrity
- Generate and maintain scripts and automated processes to improve efficiency and data management
- Prepare and update documentation for GIS processes and workflows
- Identify opportunities for enhancing GIS capabilities and implementing new tools
- Train end-users and team members on GIS software, tools, and best practices
- Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Work Location & Schedule:

- Saskatoon office
- Some travel to mine and exploration sites for field work is required

**Ideal qualifications**:
Qualities and skills we’re seeking:

- Post-secondary education in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technology or a Geomatics graduate or equivalent with significant experience in a geosciences or mining environment
- Proficient with ESRI software suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, etc.)
- Experience with Python, SQL, or JavaScript for GIS automation and customization
- Familiarity with web mapping technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ESRI web APIs)
- Comprehension of GIS principles, spatial data formats, and geodatabase management
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
- Takes initiative to suggest and implement improvements to work processes
- Effective organizational skills, particularly in terms of data and documents organization and filing
