We’re looking for a team member who is interested in working a combination of shifts split between Serving and Bartending and Shift Leading with a potential interest in growth with the company.

As Shift Leader you will supervise and support the activities of our team and ensure that our guests are satisfied with food quality and service. A Shift Leader has natural leadership abilities, is trustworthy and coachable and takes pride in ensuring that restaurant operations run smoothly. Our Shift Leaders are role models; responsible for managing the floor, creating the desired atmosphere, and supporting the team with a solutions-based, positive attitude.

To be successful as a Shift Leader, you must be able to multitask. A good Shift Leader has excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a restaurant. On average, there would be 1 to 2 shifts Leading and 3 to 4 Serving or Bartending.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in a similar role in a hospitality environment.
- Ability to multi-task, and change priorities constantly as needed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to motivate and hold team accountable to high service standards, efficiency and cleanliness.
- Flexible availability: daytime, evenings & weekends.
- Positive, enthusiastic & passionate, not only food & craft beer but also creating community.
- Leadership mentality, someone who leads by example & accountability.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitoring & assigning tasks to staff; skillful communication.
- Delegating tasks and allocating roles for efficiency.
- Full understanding and ability in each FOH role.
- Smooth and skillful communication between floor, bar & kitchen.
- Receiving feedback from guests and staff, resolving any conflicts or concerns.
- Ensuring smooth handover between morning & night shift.
- Thorough daily reporting, accurate cash handling, labour monitoring and recording.
- Managing telephone messages and bookings.
- Taking initiative and finding solutions to challenges.
- Supporting a healthy and safe work environment and responsible liquor service.
