Caught you looking this position is not your traditional Guest Services role. **Key Responsibilities**

**_ Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Service Agent will:_**
- interacts with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, takes orders, serves drinks and snacks.
- Ensure a seamless check-in and check-out procedure for each guest while maintaining friendly and professional attitude.
- Create and cancel reservations as required.
- conducting quality checks and ensuring we are meeting and exceeding quality expectations.
- Maintain proper operation of Front Desk telephones, be familiar with daily sell rates.
- Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift with hotel standards.
- Complies with all food and beverage regulations.
- Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
- Resolve complaints; assist guests with inquiries in connection to hotel services
- food and beverage, in-house event, directions, local attractions, gift shop, safety boxes etc.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or department manager.
- Comply with all company standards.

**What We are Looking for...**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential;
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Computer literate in Word and Excel. Maestro's or Opera experience is an asset;
- Smart Serve Ontario is an asset
- Food Safe certification is an asset
- Results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well in a busy and demanding environment;
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to problem solve, initiate action, and complete projects in a timely manner with mínimal supervision.
- Must be friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with a professional appearance;
- Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required;
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
