**About the Opportunity**

The Arborist is responsible for the care and maintenance of trees, ensuring their health, safety, and aesthetics. Your duties will include tree pruning, removal, planting, and disease diagnosis and treatment. You will also provide expert advice to clients regarding tree care practices and recommend appropriate solutions for tree-related issues.
- Prune and trim trees to promote healthy growth, maintain structural integrity, and enhance aesthetics.
- Safely remove trees that are dead, diseased, or pose a hazard to people or property.
- Select appropriate tree species for specific locations, prepare planting sites, and plant trees according to best practices to ensure their long-term health and vitality.
- Inspect trees for signs of disease, pest infestation, structural weakness, or environmental stressors, and develop treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain and inspect arboricultural equipment such as chainsaws, climbing gear, and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Utilize specialized climbing techniques and rigging systems to access trees safely and perform pruning, removal, and maintenance tasks at various heights.

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
