Summer Art Camp Instructor

The artist-educator leads this group of students in art projects that allow them to experiment with different materials and techniques, as well as expand their knowledge and understanding of the art-making processes. The instructor is to run each session with a maximum of 19 students and is responsible for the planning, designing and preparation of the session, instructing the class, set-up and clean-up. The instructor is to provide the Education Program Coordinator with a lesson plan and list of materials for review well ahead of the program date.

Must have previous experience of 2 - 3 years minimum.
Must have a degree in Fine Arts and/or Education.
Must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).

Compensation: $1,218.75/week (7.5 instructional hours/day). Includes comprehensive lesson plans, prep/cleaning time instructional time. 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Weeks currently available:

- Week 2: July 8 - 12
- Week 3: July 15 - 19

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 days

**Salary**: $1,218.75 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- Monday to Friday
