**Finance and Administration Clerk**

**Permanent Part-time **22.5 hrs/wk

Start Date: May, 2024

**Major functions**:

- Manage bookkeeping functions including Account reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable.
- Data entry.
- Prepare monthly submissions for accounting and monthly remittances.
- Prepare general ledger and journal entries and trial balance.
- Occasional Reception coordination and support including telephone calls, payment processing, error correction, volunteer scheduling, responding to challenging clients.
- Working with seniors and volunteers.
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director.

**Requirements**:

- Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Sage 50, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to recognize and correct bookkeeping problems.
- Must be comfortable making and answering phone calls; working with seniors.
- Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.90 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
