**What’s the opportunity?**

As a Lube Tech, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting mechanics in the day-to-day operations and cleanliness of the Garage. This role supports the efficient operation of the maintenance department.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime hours possible during peak periods.

The wage range for this position is $20.00-$23.50/hour, based on your skills and experience.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities**
- Assisting in keeping KOTT’s fleet continuously operational by performing necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Performing oil changes on vehicles and equipment.
- Changing and rotating tires, and other tire-related maintenance.
- Washing vehicles to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
- Shuttling vehicles between locations as required.
- Organizing and maintaining the parts room.
- Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the shop, adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances.
- Assisting mechanics with other tasks as required.
- Scheduling may include overtime during peak periods.

**What you need to succeed**
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, and sustain it throughout the day.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
- Basic computer skills to process completed work orders.
- Valid G Driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
- No experience required; on the job training provided.
- Familiarity with engine repair & maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required - KOTT will provide other PPE
