Job description
We are looking for a dynamic self-starting Project Co-Ordinator to join our growing team. Located in Pickering, Ontario we specialize in the manufacturing and distribution of architectural specialty products for the construction industry across North America. With the success of over 40 years in business, we have developed a quality line of products including louvers, sun screens and entrance grilles.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Manage multiple projects scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical adherence to specifications and drawings.
Develop project plans to track progress maintaining on-time delivery within scope and budget.
Serve as a conduit of information to all parties including clients, operations, installations and design.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as NOC’s, CO’s and SI’s. Work with estimating and engineering/production in regard to costs, shop drawings and delivery planning.
Coordinate or solve technical problems as they relate to site - Facilitate communication between installation crews and production/engineering.
Take part in construction site meetings where required
Issue all communication and coordination documents with Project customers. This would include order confirmations, colour selections, LEED documentation and shop drawing submittals.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum two years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction field. A working knowledge of Building Envelope or Architectural Specialty products would be an asset.
Solid understanding of construction drawings and documentation
Result-oriented, passionate and rigorous individual who can exercise initiative and leadership.
Excellent client and internal communication skills - Including face to face, electronic and telecommunications with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
