Recreation Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**:
Under the supervision of the General Manager, ensure continuous development and execution of recreation programs and the coordination of volunteer activities and to perform all related administrative and budgeting functions for the department.

**Work Experience**:

- Holds a Diploma in Recreation or has notable time spent with seniors in a similar position.

**Skills**:

- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and should be able to create and manage our monthly Activities Calendar & News Letter.
- Holds a current class 5 drivers license and be willing to obtain a Class 4 license with the intention of driving our shuttle bus.
- Multi-tasker, able to prioritize your day and provide our active seniors with a varied and meaningful program of activities and outings that fluctuate to suit our current residents demographic.
- Must have "Serving it Right & Basic First Aid.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $21.00 per hour
