We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Project Manager to support our client, a leading military defense manufacturing company based in Ingersoll, ON The successful candidate will support programs for both the Department of National Defense (DND) and the U.Department of Defense (DoD),and will oversee the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of a new manufacturing facility - ensuring timely delivery, on-budget performance, and alignment with operational goals.
Job Type: Full-time, permanent.
Lead planning through commissioning a new facility expansion project, ensuring seamless hand-over.
Lead the preparation and submission of DND and DoD tenders, RFPs, and costed technical proposals, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements (e.g., Oversee external contractors, architects, engineers, and construction partners to meet project milestones.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resources; assess and mitigate risks.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Drive stakeholder communication, including regular reporting to senior leaders.
Supervise commissioning and transition from construction to operations.
Uphold project management best practices, including quality control and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree is considered an asset
~10+ years of applied experience in project management, with knowledge of delivering large-scale capital projects in defense manufacturing or industrial environments.
~ Strong understanding of defense contract structures (Firm Fixed Price, CPFF, IDIQ), industrial security programs, and Controlled Goods/ITAR Compliance.
~ Proven experience managing large-scale manufacturing and facility CAPEX programs, including installation and commissioning.
~ Strong understanding of construction management, manufacturing operations, and process design.
~ Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
~ Ability to manage complex projects with multiple contractors and internal teams.
~ PMP or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
~ Must be able to pass the Controlled Goods Program
~ Must be willing to travel to different locations across Ontario.
