Senior Operations Director (Saskatoon Based) Canada’s largest 100% First Nations-owned hospitality company is looking for a Senior Operations Director. Reporting to the managing director, you will play a critical role in delivering our organization's vision and promises, via our Uranium, Exploration, and McIlvenna Bay operations. You will provide oversight and guidance to ensure our daily “bread & butter” business objectives are met among our team leaders. Collaboration and consultation are paramount to ensuring we provide high quality services to our clients; thereby, solidifying our reputation and future as an exceptional hospitality services provider. Your leadership must be adaptive, energetic, strategic, and supportive, for our operations team to maximize its potential. Success in this role requires you to manage multiple portfolios, by ensuring compliance with company polices and directives. You will foster relationships and set accountabilities for the operations team in a consistent and collaborative manner. You must ensure financial performance expectations are met and confirm contractual obligations to our clients are fulfilled. Additionally, you will monitor and ensure development of realistic and accurate forecasts. Lastly, you can meet deadlines and work under pressure, while always carrying yourself with the highest standard of professionalism. Management experience in the hospitality industry is a strongly preferred asset. You will require a demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, and interpret financial data/reports. You must be business savvy with strong working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices. Proven time management and organization skills are critical, as well as prioritizing time-sensitive matters. Demonstration of decisive, strategic leadership is crucial, including pertinent and well-informed decision-making. You must be a driving force for operational and managerial excellence, who leads by example. A candidate of Indigenous ancestry is preferred but not essential.
