Head Grower

About the Role: Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head Grower who is ready to take on a leadership role overseeing a team of 8 employees who are eager to learn and grow under their guidance. Your ability to train, mentor, and inspire will be just as important as your technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day greenhouse operations. Train, mentor, and supervise a team of growers and production staff. Plan and execute crop schedules, ensuring high-quality yields. Implement best practices in IPM management, harvesting, cleaning, and maintain a nearly pharmaceutical grade facility. Monitor production metrics and continuously optimize processes, as necessary. Ideal Candidate Profile: 5–10+ years of experience in farming, greenhouse and/or hydroponic production. Proven team leadership and supervision experience, with a strong ability to train and develop staff. Expertise in herbs and vegetable cultivation. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for operational excellence. Hydroponic experience is a bonus but not required if the candidate has extensive knowledge and experience in farm operations, crop and IPM management.
