Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Hybrid System Admin for our Federal Government client. This is a hybrid role in Ottawa, ON. Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Education: - Degree/diploma in Science, Engineering, or IT from a Canadian institution OR equivalent foreign credential with Canadian equivalency OR any degree/diploma + 60 months IT experience Experience: - 48 months in last 6 years in system administration within a System of Systems environment Scope of Work: - Administer and maintain client distributed infrastructure Tasks include: - Server & virtualization management - Microsoft services (AD, Exchange)- Linux & Windows servers - Security hardening, compliance (ITSG-33)- Automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)- Incident response & forensic analysis - Documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams - Training & mentorship Deliverables: - Technical documentation (architecture, SOPs)- Security documentation (hardening checklists, access controls)- Monitoring dashboards, automation scripts - Compliance & performance reports - Incident response reports - Monthly status reports Maplesoft Group prides itself on its distinct corporate culture and recognizes that success is a direct reflection of our most valuable asset - our people.
