As a participant in the 2026 internship program, you will have the opportunity to apply your learnings and gain dynamic experience working with our experienced professionals. We are recruiting for positions located at our Montreal office in a hybrid format Internships are currently available in the teams : Financial Performance Management Performance, financial planning and capital Treasury Analysis Real Estate Business Strategy Finance Evolution Corporate Development Strategy More specifically, the responsibilities may include, depending on your interests : Improve an SQL/SAP/Excel analysis environment Set up or improve Excel analysis tools and develop dashboards Participate in capital monitoring calculations Develop liquidity monitoring measures and forecasting supervision tools Analyze the bank's revenues and expenses at different levels Evaluate client profitability Optimize our methods and simplify disclosure and management analysis with different business lines Automate tasks related to the real estate business strategy using tools such as Power Platform Prerequisite Strong analytical skills and good understanding of financial concepts Programming knowledge, e.g. Python, SQL or VBA Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely Ability to solve complex problems Advanced Excel skills Required skills Agility Autonomy Collaboration Intellectual curiosity Commitment Organization Perseverance Empowerment Rigour Initiative Valid status to work in Canada Being an intern at National Bank of Canada is much more than just an internship, it is a whole experience during which : You will be taken care of even before you arrive.
