On behalf of our client we are seeking a Sales Development Representative, for Data Solutions. This is a B2B sales professional responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads for our client's data solutions services.
This is a permanent, remote work opportunity.
This role focuses on identifying and engaging with mid-to-large enterprise clients, understanding their business needs related to digital marketing data, and effectively articulating how our clients' expertise as a premier data consultancy, and a Google Marketing Platform sales partner can address those needs.
The Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in building the sales pipeline, generating qualified opportunities for the sales team, and contributing to the growth of the data solutions business.
Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and social selling, to generate new leads and qualify interest in data solutions
Engage with prospects to understand their current digital marketing data challenges, existing technology stack, and business objectives
Become an expert in the value proposition of data solutions, including digital analytics services, Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud offerings, and how they align with prospects' needs
Schedule qualified meetings and introductions for more senior staff, ensuring a smooth handover of well-researched and engaged prospects
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and lead qualifications in the CRM system
Collaborate closely with other business development team members and our Associate Director, Marketing, to optimize lead generation strategies and ensure consistent messaging that aligns with positioning and brand strategy
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and new developments in digital analytics in general, and Google Marketing Platform and Google Cloud in particular
1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales development, lead generation, or similar client-facing role, preferably within the technology or digital marketing sector
~ Strong understanding of the sales development lifecycle and best practices for prospecting, qualification, and objection handling
~ Demonstrated ability to conduct effective cold outreach (calls, emails, social media) and engage with senior-level decision makers
~ Proficiency with CRM software and sales engagement platforms
~ Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, digital data and analytics, or cloud technologies
~ A bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
