PLM Project Manager Location: Montreal (3 days each week on site) Duration: 12 months You will play a critical role in overseeing and executing PLM projects. You will manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects in the PLM process and tools domain, adhering to the priorities outlined on the roadmap. This role requires a proactive leader with strong project management & interpersonal skills, good understanding of PLM principles and Siemens Software platform, the ability to navigate cross-functional environments, and a passion for delivering project success in a fast-paced, innovative setting. Responsibilities Lead and manage PLM projects through the lifecycle phases: definition, feasibility, solution development, validation, and roll-out. Manage projects implementing deployment and optimization of Siemens PLM software across multiple domains - including engineering, product development, manufacturing, quality, production, and supply chain. Support, coach and provide project structure for technical PLM Process or Tool specialists on their activities and deliverables. Manage communication and coordination between PLM Managers, their teams, and executives. Identify new business needs and follow the intake process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and seamless communication. Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Track and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize impact on project deliverables. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, risk registers, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. Prepare, analyze, coordinate, assign, integrate, and maintain project plans. Provide schedule, report/metrics, change activity, communication and plan updates regularly throughout the project lifecycle. Lead and delegate team's responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle. Act as primary project contact to establish key customer requirements and project objectives. Support the PLM Program Manager with project execution, deliverables and customer liaison. Manage a portfolio of specific PLM projects related to an aircraft program key milestones. Proven Ability / Key Skills Essential Proven track record of managing complex projects in fast-paced, innovative environments; experience in aviation, aerospace, or related industries is a plus. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CSM, CSPO) is preferred. Expert practitioner of scrum methodology. Time management skills to handle multiple concurrent projects efficiently. Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Exceptional organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive improvements. Experience in risk management, mitigation/recovery, and proactive issue resolution. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, implementing PLM tools and processes based on Siemens platform in the aviation, aerospace, or related industries. Desirable Experience with PLM/CAD/MES/Simulation/ALM solutions like Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter and Polarion. FAA type design certification experience. Understanding of PLM fundamentals like Model Based Definition, Digital Threads, Electronic datasets and process digitalization. Experience using Jira, Confluence, MS-Project, Planisware. Experience with external partnerships and vendor management. Experience managing services contracting.
