Carrier Mausoleums Construction (CMC Canada) is a canadian construction company renowned for delivering unique, high-quality projects across North America. For over 40 years, CMC has set the standard in cemetery and funeral construction, creating lasting projects that contribute to the legacy of communities. We are currently looking for a Superintendent to work in the GTA for our current and upcoming mausoleums projects. Our upcoming project is more precisely located in Vaughan, ON.

As part of the construction team and under the direction of the Ontario General Superintendent, you will work in collaboration with the various teams and subcontractors on the different worksites for CMC . It implies, among others, to lead and manage the delivery of buildings to be constructed in one worksite, to manage simultaneously CMC employees & subcontractors of different trades involved in the construction’ sequence. Finally, you will also have to take charge of scheduling our project’s different phases of construction according to OSHA regulations in place and to do everything to avoid injuries and accidents on your worksite.


Coordinate inspections by various professionals (soil engineers, building inspectors, etc.)
•Deliver compliant, quality jobsites on schedule
•Organize and direct daily meetings with foremen or subcontractors related to operations
•Control the supply and safe storage of materials, equipment and tools
•Ensure conformity and quality of work, materials and products in order to accelerate the release of holdbacks on contracts
•Participate in work planning with the project manager
•Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed by all team members
•Effectively manage the site, foremen, survey crew, subcontractors and site personnel.
•Encourage performance, good working relationships, respect and team spirit.


At least 10 years ‘experience as a commercial/industrial Superintendent
•Minimum 10 years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman, Concrete Finisher or an equivalent Trade
•Strong framing skills, experience with concrete formwork, placing, and finishing are all essentials to the position
•ASSET: ASSET: Experienced with multi-million dollar construction projects, as well as smaller ones
•Intermediate proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
•Comfort with regular administrative IT tool like MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
•Valid health and safety training for construction job sites (WHMIS, Working at Heights, etc.).
•Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards through OHSA training and practical experience.
•Carpenter certification considered an asset.
