Vision Talent's client is a leading financial institution, they have an immediate need for a Mobile Architect. This is an initial 6 month contract term but with a likely conversion to permanent employment - **NOTE that you must be open to converting to permanent in order to be considered. They are open to a Mobile Architect skilled in either Android OR IOS. This is largely a remote role with only 1 day/week required in office. Candidates will KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) experience will be given priority. Android Skillset: Java, Kotlin, XML, JetPack Compose, Android Studio, Unit test, KMP At least 5 years of experience in Android app solution design, and proven record of providing technical recommendation for business requirements Should be able to do hands-on and create prototypes if required Well experienced in complete app development lifecycle right from intake assessment to app release & production support Play key role in helping define and enhance strategy and roadmap IOS Skillset: Hands-on experience in iOS mobile application Design Ability to mentor junior developers in the team Key technology stack: Objective-C, Swift, UIKIt, Cocoapods, Xcode, XCTest Additional Requirements: Ability to mentor the developers in the team Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills Enjoys working in a fast paced environment Should possess great organizational skills and time management skills Experience working with cross-functional teams Experienced in agile methodology Banking domain knowledge is considered an asset.
