SAP Master Data Specialist

Duration: 1 year Location: Remote Overview Our client is undertaking a large-scale Maintenance Readiness initiative and is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Specialist with a strong background in SAP Master Data Hierarchy and a foundational understanding of asset and maintenance operations. This role will be a key contributor in supporting maintenance readiness, data structure optimization, and preparation for Stage 2 execution. Responsibilities Develop, validate, and maintain SAP master data structures and hierarchies related to maintenance and asset management. Support maintenance readiness planning and execution activities. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to align master data configuration with business requirements. Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency across systems. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP master data issues. Support continuous improvement and optimization initiatives within maintenance and asset data management. Qualifications Extensive experience with SAP Master Data Hierarchy (e.g., asset structure, functional location, equipment hierarchy, bill of materials, work order data). Strong understanding of maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management. Experience supporting asset-intensive industries (mining, energy, utilities, manufacturing, etc.) preferred. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
