Corporate Accounting Manager Employment Type Permanent Location London, Ontario Apply SHARE THIS JOB Job Description: Our client, a great automotive parts manufacturing company is looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager, reporting directly to CFO. This is a key finance role and they are a rapidly growing public company with significant room for career progression. Located in Strathroy, Ontario (about 40 minutes west of London) fully on site role. Responsibilities of the Corporate Accounting Manger is as follows but not limited to: Responsible for all monthly and year end closings and the preparation of internal Operating statements of the Company and external consolidated financial statements of company to the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders. Oversee all aspects of the Financial Group Audit including internal control compliance. Liaise with external auditors and Revenue Canada. Liaise with Tax Authorities regarding Goods and Services Tax, Provincial Retail Sales Tax, International Value Added Tax, Corporate Income Return Filings and SRED. Responsible for all tax compliance matters including regulatory filings, transfer pricing and strategic input to minimize tax exposure. Provides management with accurate and timely information to make strategic, investment and operating decisions. Liaise with Banks and Financial Institutions with respect to cash, credit, and debt management. Assists CFO to design, organize, direct & coordinate Foreign Exchange Policy, Exposure & Hedging and Cash Management Policy & Administration. Ensures all established policies, rules, regulations, and agreements are followed. Support and mentor the local finance teams including implementing best practices and standardization. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. TMGNY Job Requirements: Looking for: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Professional Accounting Designation (CPA/CA/CMA/CGA). 5-10+ years of experience. Key Characteristics: Advanced critical thinking skills. Influential. Accomplished financial and purchasing acumen.
