*Office Location:* Abbotsford, BC, approximately 1-hour drive from Vancouver.

*Your activities and responsibilities*
· Design hydronic heating and related systems for commercial greenhouses;
· Communicate directly with customers to understand system requirements and generate final system design and documentation;
* Create and submit detailed bids that outline costs and timelines for projects;
· Provide technical support to the sales team or be directly involved in the sales of heating systems in greenhouse projects;
· Supervise the creation of the required drawings (Revit 3D and AutoCAD 2D) for our greenhouse installation projects, as per specifications, and prepare material lists for related systems;
· Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers, and order or supervise the ordering of the materials. Communicate with Logistics Co-Ordinator to assure materials are delivered when required;
· Communicate with engineering staff, construction supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers;
· Hire contractors and monitor their progress and quality of work performed.
*Your profile*
· Mechanical Engineering degree or other Engineering degree in combination with experience in a related field and having at least 10 years of relevant experience;
· Background that includes hydronic heating system design;
· Basic knowledge of control systems;
· Works well individually and within a team;
· A creative thinker and a problem solver;
· Proficient with Microsoft Office;
· Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and a pleasant telephone manner.
