Our client is a century-old consumer goods manufacturer in Grimsby, producing essential products such as toilet paper, diapers, tissue, and medical gowns. The company is known for its stable, long-tenured workforce, with many employees having 20+ years of service, and most openings occur due to retirements — a testament to their supportive culture and strong employee retention. We are seeking a licensed 433A Industrial Millwright to join their team. This is a straight day-shift position, offering hands-on work in a primarily mechanical facility. Welding skills are an asset, and employees are encouraged to cross-train in other areas such as machinist and pipefitter tasks to support a well-rounded maintenance team. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain motors, mixers, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems - Perform equipment installations, alignments, and rigging - Inspect and replace conveyor components, roll changes, and related machinery parts - Conduct fabrication and minor welding as needed - Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth 24/7 plant operations - Assist other trades with machinist or pipefitter tasks as required Qualifications/Skills: - Valid 433A Industrial Millwright license (Skilled Trades Ontario)- 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment - Welding or fabrication experience considered an asset - Ability to work overtime and be available for call-ins as needed - Strong problem-solving skills, manual dexterity, and teamwork Industry - Consumer Goods Position Type - Union Salary - $43.11/hour Perks: 2.5% Pension, 2-weeks vacation + 104 Floating Hours Location: Grimsby, ON Shift: Straight Days (7:00am-3:00pm) If this sounds like a position of interest to you and you would like to find out more information, please submit an updated resume to jen@itecgroup.ca itec group Inc . emphasizes the importance of building effective relationships between candidates and industry leading companies.
