Our mission is to trade fairly and directly with small-scale producers in developing countries and to market their products in North America, offering our customers ethical consumer choices. We import coffee, tea, dried fruit, and cane sugar from small-scale producers in Colombia, Honduras, Peru, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, D.R. Congo, India, & more. Our products are sold through a network of fair-trade stores, grocery stores, health stores, cafés, and non-profit organizations. *Our Team* Level Ground's Production team is a co-operative, communicative, forward-thinking & positive environment where hard work and innovation are valued. The team is responsible for roasting, packaging and shipping delicious coffee. *Job Overview* The primary deliverables of the position are: · Operating roasting equipment Operating packaging equipment · Cleaning equipment and processing areas · Preparing orders and completing other duties as required *Desired Assets* The ideal candidate would have the following skills, abilities and experience: · Valid Food Safe certificate * Can be attained during employment · Basic computer skills · Physically able to lift up to 40lb · Demonstrated enthusiasm, determination, and adaptability · Experienced team player who enjoys smiling, listening, and contributing to a positive work environment · Growth and learning mindset *Benefits* We love coffee Staff have access to delicious beverages from our Tasting Room prepared by our awesome Baristas.
