About the Role Breakfast Club of Canada is looking for a Program Coordinator to oversee breakfast programs in Saskatchewan or Manitoba. This is a full-time, temporary position for 12 to 15 months, depending on the start date. Reporting to the Senior Program Advisor, the successful candidate will work closely with schools and community partners to support the implementation of high-quality breakfast programs for students, ensuring they have access every day to a complete, nutritious breakfast in a safe, inclusive, and caring environment. The role involves helping schools and communities build capacity to expand programs, strengthening connections across regions under their mandate. The coordinator will also develop and implement initiatives to improve access to food in schools and communities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Regularly visit breakfast programs and provide remote support to schools and regional partners to support program development and assess each school's specific needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with key provincial stakeholders, facilitating collaboration to strengthen programs. Support other Club initiatives related to programs (philanthropy, communications and marketing, government relations, etc.), including arranging visits for local donors. Coordinate the onboarding of new schools, assist with needs assessments, equipment orders, food donations, and more. Design and implement initiatives to improve the quality of support provided to partners. Assist in developing and monitoring key performance indicators to define service levels, measure local impact, and produce reports. Track and analyze data on local and regional support. Support colleagues in strengthening relationships within school communities and facilitating collaboration. Perform other tasks as needed to ensure smooth team operations. Qualifications: College diploma or professional degree in a relevant field. At least two (2) years of relevant experience. Valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and availability to travel regularly for in person support. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing databases. Knowledge of school nutrition programs in Canada, food access issues, and/or community food systems (asset). Excellent understanding of diverse cultures and communities; professional experience in urban or rural diverse settings. Professional experience with Indigenous communities (asset). Experience in community development and stakeholder engagement (asset). Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or collaborative meetings with diverse stakeholders, in-person or virtually (asset). Experience and/or proficiency with virtual communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and collaborative platforms such as SharePoint or Monday.com (asset). Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of French (asset). Personal Qualities: Commitment to the Club's mission and values. Excellent prioritization, planning, and organizational skills to manage remote tasks, travel commitments, and administrative deadlines effectively.
