The Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) is dedicated to supporting the best and brightest scientists conducting cancer research in Israel. The Toronto Chapter plays a vital role in fundraising, donor engagement, and community outreach to advance ICRF’s mission.


The ICRF Toronto Donor Relations Manager reports to the CEO and will provide high-level administrative, operational, and logistical support to ensure the efficient functioning of the Toronto office. This individual will play a key role in event coordination, donor database management, communication with volunteers and board members, and assisting with fundraising initiatives. This role is based in Toronto and will be a hybrid of office and remote work.


Administrative Support
Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and general inquiries.
Support the CEO with meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and calendar management.
Prepare and maintain board materials, meeting minutes, and reports.
Maintain filing systems and organizational documents (digital and physical).

Donor and Database Management
Maintain accurate donor and event records in the CRM system, Donor Perfect.
Process donations, issue tax receipts, and ensure data integrity.
Generate donor reports and assist with stewardship and acknowledgment communications.

Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, galas, and donor receptions.
Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, guest lists, invitations, and on-site support.

Communications and Outreach
Support donor and community communications, including newsletters, social media posts, and website updates.
Liaise with volunteers, board members, and community partners.
Assist in creating promotional materials and donor correspondence.
Manage and implement tribute card program.

Financial and Operational Support
Assist with budgeting and financial tracking.
Liaise with the national office and external vendors as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Minimum 3–5 years of administrative or office management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or fundraising environment.
Experience with donor databases (CRM systems) such as Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge or Salesforce.
Experience handling confidential donor information and working with senior leadership or boards.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with Canva, Mailchimp, and social media management tools is an asset.
