Hi, I'm Marian, recruitment consultant with Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area, and I specialize in assisting accounting firms. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover finance, accounting and payroll professions. I'm looking for an Forensic accounting analyst for an accounting firm in Montreal. Your responsibilities: Review and analyze financial data to find/identify discrepancies or irregularities Prepare financial schedules and reports for insured losses (business interruption, inventory losses, fraud investigations, cyber-attacks, product recalls, fidelity and loss of earning capacity due to personal injury) Perform financial analysis in the context of legal or potential legal disputes Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner Meet time budget and deadlines as expected per file Maintain appropriate legislative knowledge on an ongoing basis Travel to client site as needed (10%) Other duties as required Your profile: 1-5 years of relevant accounting experience CPA designation obtained or in progress CBV, CFF or CFE designation, or working towards these designations would be an asset Audit experience, an asset Strong analytical, accounting and auditing skills Excellent French skills, both written and verbal) Knowledge of insurance loss quantification and claims consulting would be an asset Highly detail oriented, excellent organizational management and communication skills
