Accounting Analyst - Payroll - 5 Months Employment Type Contract Location TORONTO, Ontario Apply SHARE THIS JOB Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting, the Accounting Analyst will be responsible for processing and validating the payroll accounting requirements for the organization. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and upload weekly/bi-weekly/monthly payroll journal entries. Prepare bank and other general ledger reconciliations. Prepare variance and trend analyses. Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve differences. Take ownership and coordination of workflows within the Payroll Accounting team ensuring all timelines and service levels are met. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as Payroll Advisory, Property Managers, and other accounting and FP&A teams across the organization. Prepare working papers for external auditors as required. TMGCT Job Requirements: Must Have: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Accounting or Finance 3+ Years of experience in general accounting entries with experience in payroll accounting Advanced MS Office and MS Excel Skills Experience and knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, and or JD Edwards are all assets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently A self-starter, self-directed and results driven Team player with a positive attitude Apply
