We are seeking an experienced Patternmaker for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in patternmaking, garment construction, and fit for women's apparel, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Requirements: Certified Diploma in Fashion Design. Previous experience in Patternmaking and Grading for women's apparel. Knowledge of garment fit and construction for both woven and knits in sportswear and dresses. Knowledge of PAD System Knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Have a positive, proactive and productive approach. Excellent organization skills in order to meet deadlines. Bilingualism: French & English (written English necessary for communication with factories) Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently. Duties / Responsibilities: Create and update patterns through all stages of fits towards final production. Assist in fit sessions for assigned styles with a live model while suggesting fit comments to improve fit, proportion, construction and quality of sample. Create detailed Tech packs for new styles and also for costing purposes. Finalize Tech packs for production. Measure fit and PP samples of assigned styles to determine if they meet the requirements. Work in close relation with Head Patternmaker & Design Team to ensure high standard of fit. Work closely with Sample makers to ensure the best construction of each garment. Send detailed fit comments to the Makers. Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) modéliste expérimenté(e) pour l'un de nos clients. La personne idéale possédera une solide expertise technique en modélisme, en construction de vêtements et en ajustement pour les vêtements pour femmes, ainsi que d'excellentes compétences organisationnelles et en communication. Exigences : Diplôme reconnu en design de mode. Expérience préalable en modélisme et en gradation pour les vêtements pour femmes. Connaissance de l'ajustement et de la construction des vêtements en tissus tissés et en tricots, dans les catégories sportswear et robes. Connaissance d'Illustrator et de Photoshop. Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (particulièrement Excel). Attitude positive, proactive et productive. Excellentes compétences organisationnelles afin de respecter les délais. Bilinguisme : français et anglais (l'anglais écrit est requis pour la communication avec les usines). Capacité à bien travailler en équipe ainsi que de manière autonome. Tâches et responsabilités : Créer et mettre à jour les patrons à travers toutes les étapes d'essayage jusqu'à la production finale. Participer aux séances d'essayage pour les styles assignés avec un mannequin vivant et formuler des commentaires d'ajustement afin d'améliorer la coupe, les proportions, la construction et la qualité des échantillons. Créer des fiches techniques détaillées (tech packs) pour les nouveaux styles et à des fins d'estimation des coûts. Finaliser les fiches techniques pour la production. Prendre les mesures des échantillons d'ajustement et de préproduction pour s'assurer qu'ils répondent aux exigences. Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le/la chef modéliste et l'équipe de design afin de garantir un haut niveau de qualité et d'ajustement. Collaborer avec les couturières d'échantillons pour assurer la meilleure construction possible de chaque vêtement. Envoyer des commentaires détaillés sur les ajustements aux fabricants.
