The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering Amazon packages along a set daily route while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires you to provide your own cargo van – a Ford Transit or Sprinter (or similar cargo van), strong communication skills, good customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Route Subcontractor will also be expected to uphold daily punctuality with an early start and maintain an organized vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate a van‑style vehicle to transport packages along designated routes. Load and unload products, performing heavy lifting when necessary. Communicate effectively with customers to provide exceptional service and address any inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs. Utilize warehouse skills for efficient loading and unloading processes. Requirements Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform possible heavy lifting throughout the workday (up to 50 lbs). Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction during deliveries. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is advantageous. Valid G driving license is required for this position. MUST have a clean driving record within recent years.
