Location: Drivers will operate long-haul in the southeastern U.S. starting from Hardee County Florida. Job Overview Full‑time Seasonal. Contract Dates: ASAP – June 30, 2026. Drake International is hiring class AZ licensed truck drivers with some AZ / Class 1 driving experience for a seasonal agricultural logistics project based in the southeastern United States. This is a full‑time temporary opportunity ideal for long‑haul drivers seeking consistent work and competitive pay during the U.S. harvest season. Key Responsibilities Operate day‑cab or sleeper‑cab semi‑trucks (up to 80,000 lbs GVW) Transport bulk and packaged produce (citrus, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries) Drive solo or as a team, returning to the terminal every 1–3 days Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and minor maintenance Use client‑provided apps for logging, GPS, and communication (ELD, TMS, RELAY) Comply with DOT Hours‑of‑Service regulations Compensation & Benefits Pay: Minimum $24.53 USD/hour or per-load basis (whichever is greater) Schedule: Approx. 60–70 hours/week, 6 days/week Equipment: Modern sleeper‑cab trucks with amenities (bed, fridge, Wi‑Fi) Travel Support: Inbound/outbound travel covered for non‑local hires Residency Options: Sleep in truck or secure local housing (info provided) Facilities: Access to showers, parking, and rest areas at terminal and roadside stops Requirements Valid AZ (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License and some AZ driving experience using a tractor‑trailer Valid Canadian passport Must meet all U.S. commercial driving requirements No minimum education or experience required Must pass drug/alcohol testing (post‑hire, random, and post‑incident) Must have a hands‑free phone system and active bank account for direct deposit Professional conduct and adherence to safety protocols required Additional Information Drivers must accurately log and submit activity records Personal use of truck allowed (subject to wage deductions: $1/mile, $5/hour idling) Client will assist with documentation/fees required for U.S. entry No loading/unloading required No passengers unless authorized This is not a fly‑in/fly‑out role — drivers are required to remain in the U.S. for the full duration of the contract.
