Cleaner – Environmental Services At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for a Cleaner to support our Environmental Services department. Job Outline The incumbent is required to perform a variety of tasks in connection with the auxiliary duties in the operation of the Environmental Services Department. This includes any special assignments which may be requested by the Environmental Services Department. While there may be a primary assignment, assignments may change due to management’s discretion and operational needs. Education & Qualifications Grade 10 education or equivalent Must have a congenial disposition and be willing to accept direction from more than one Supervisor Excellent oral and written English communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to adapt easily to change Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required Hours Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Friday 2:30pm to 10:30pm Week 2: Monday, Thursday 7:00am to 3:00pm and Saturday 2:30pm to 10:30pm Salary Minimum - $24.792/hour; Maximum - $25.741/hour Eligibility & Safety Requirements Employment at Sinai Health is conditional upon the verification of credentials, completion of a health review, and demonstrating proof of immunity and vaccination status of vaccine-preventable diseases. All employees and affiliates will follow safe work practices and comply with health and safety policies, procedures and training.
