We believe the best way to learn about the world is to experience it and every day we come to work hoping to help as many people as possible do just that.The RoleAs a member of our high energy, collaborative and competitive sales team, you will play a critical role in developing customer acquisition and retention strategies while simultaneously identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience. Your daily activities will involve making outbound sales calls to potential travelers who have expressed interest in group travel through our website and marketing efforts. Additionally, you will help maintain interest by continuing the relationship with our past loyal travelers in booking their next Go Ahead Tour.No Sales experience? No problem. Our Sales Development Program is designed for those who are both launching a new career in sales and those who want to build upon existing sales skills and techniques. Our goal is to create strong salespeople and instill lasting skills that you can carry with you throughout your career. This program is a great way to build your career with a global leader in the industry.ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage your book of business while simultaneously bringing in new businessMaintain and practice high outreach, follow-up phone conversationsAverage 100+ calls and 3 hours of phone time per dayUtilize consultative selling techniques to prospect and initiate product interestConsistently achieve or exceed sales goalsDevelop an integrated sales strategy to accomplish your goalsWeekend Work: 1-2 days/month - Take a weekday off when you work a weekend dayLate Shift Work: 1-2 days/month - Late shifts will be from 11:30 am - 8 pm MTQualificationsMust have full work authorization without company sponsorshipMust be fluent in EnglishStrong verbal communication and influencing skills (must be able to connect with a diverse range of individuals via telephone)Naturally strong sales instincts: you can recognize and capitalize on buying signals that customers displayDriven and competitive mindset that has you intrinsically motivated to hit goalsDemonstrates personal accountability, self-awareness, and student mentalityAdept in problem-solving skillsAbility to independently plan, organize and prioritize work while collaborating with a teamYou are flexible, with the ability to pivot quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environmentMust have at least 4 years of relevant work experience or a 4-year degreeWhy You’ll Love Working HereWork in our light-filled, conveniently located downtown office where you’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced and collaborative team, working together to make an impact.
