AS/400 Developer: Systems

Responsibilities: System Administration: Managing daily operations, ensuring system availability and performance, installing updates, implementing security measures, performing backups and recovery. Application Development: Designing, coding, testing, and implementing new applications as well as modifying and enhancing existing ones. Programming: Developing and maintaining programs using languages like RPG ILE, RPG IV, COBOL, and Command Language (CL). Database Management: Creating and managing database objects such as tables and indexes in the DB2400 environment. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitoring system and application performance, diagnosing and resolving production issues, and handling tickets for infrastructure and network connectivity. Collaboration and Support: Working with business analysts and end users to understand requirements, providing technical support and training, and participating in code reviews. Documentation: Developing and maintaining system documentation, procedures, and code documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
