Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Toronto, ON for a Senior Manager, Tax. The Senior Manager, Tax will oversee the company's tax planning, compliance, and preparation processes. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to tax laws, addressing tax-related issues, and strategizing to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring regulatory obligations are met. The role also involves leading and mentoring team members, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and staying updated on changes in tax policies and regulations. Qualifications Strong expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Preparation. Extensive knowledge of Tax Compliance and Tax Law. Proven ability to analyze and manage complex tax-related matters. Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills. Effective communication, analytical, and organizational abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred. Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations and policies is highly desirable.
