But at ABB, you’ll never run alone. Run what runs the world. This Position reports to: Finance Manager, North America HUB Controller. Work model for the role is: Onsite. This role is contributing to the Switchboard manufacturing plant located in Montreal. In this role, you will partner with the plant manager to define and implement operation strategies, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory/manufacturing site. Your Role Perform analyses of business performance versus plan and propose improvement actions. Benchmark key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB. Prepare financial modelling for various hypotheses and assess impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under‑absorption analysis / inventory analysis. Support the preparation of the relevant organization month‑end closing, financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and provide information to management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. What It Takes To Run What Runs The World +7 years of experience in Operations finance role. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance / Controlling. Advanced proficiency in SAP. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholders. Excellent command of French and English (written and spoken).
