Role and Facility Information Fraser Health is seeking physicians interested in working in our hospital medicine program at Eagle Ridge Hospital. Applicants should have a strong interest in acute care hospital practice and work collaboratively with all members of the inter‑professional team, including other physicians, Nurse Practitioners, nurses, and allied health staff. Primary Responsibilities Admissions and management of patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP). Supportive care for some surgical and specialty medical patients. Work independently, with off‑site specialty support by phone. Collaborate with community‑based physicians to optimize discharge planning and patient care processes. Participate in overnight coverage, with frequency proportional to weeks worked. Schedule Day and evening shifts 7 days consecutively. Overnight coverage is mandatory. Eligibility and Qualifications Hospitalist experience, fellowship, and/or membership in professional hospital medicine societies. Rural medicine experience is an asset. Superior clinical and communication skills, exceptional bedside manner, and team management abilities. Proficiency with community resources and collaborative discharge planning.
