DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include? Utilizing internal and external information, tools and resources to evaluate account’s machinery breakdown risk quality and communicate this evaluation to underwriting team members. Managing the scope and scale of loss prevention services delivered to monoline MB UW clients, based on client expectations, underwriting requirements and service cost constraints. Working directly with some of our more complex clients in industries such as mining and pulp and paper to improve their machinery breakdown risk profile. Activities will include multi-day in-person loss prevention visits as well as virtual or in-person loss prevention meetings to update status of recommendations or projects. Participating in Toronto office meetings and other client facing presentations as required. Lending your expertise and experience to continually expand the knowledge and development efforts of other team members. You will report to the Transversal Manager, Machinery Breakdown. SHARE your talent We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills : Required Skills and Abilities Machinery breakdown loss prevention experience in the following industries : Mining, Pulp and Paper A moderate amount of industry experience in Machinery Breakdown field loss prevention or account consultant role Ability to summarize large amounts of information and deliver against deadlines Broad knowledge of industry standards and codes applicable to machinery breakdown and reliability Excellent communication and collaboration skills Outstanding customer relationship and negotiation skills Proficient presentation skills, including written and verbal Knowledge of functionality of IT systems in Engineering (or equivalent) required.
