Protrans Personnel Services Inc. is seeking a proactive and detailed‑oriented Return‑to‑Work (RTW) Specialist to join our team. This position will be based out of our head office in Dieppe, NB or remotely from Ontario.In this role, the RTW Specialist will report to the Human Resources Director and will be the primary company liaison for employees on medical leave, ensuring a smooth and safe return‑to‑work process while driving continuous improvement in disability management programs, with a strategic focus to reduce recordable and lost‑time incidents. The ideal candidate will be an initiative‑taker who likes problem solving, is driven to identify continuous improvement opportunities and enjoys a challenge.QualificationsPost‑secondary education in one of the following:Disability ManagementHealth Sciences (nursing, physiotherapy, kinesiology, occupational therapy)Social Work/SociologyVocational RehabilitationPsychology/Counselling2 to 5 years’ experience in return to work, disability management, vocational rehabilitation or alternate dispute resolutionStrong attention to detail with exceptional organizational, communication and time management skillsAbility to multitask while remaining flexible and managing shifting prioritiesProfessional demeanour and confidentiality are a mustExcellent computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS OfficeBilingual proficiency in French and English is an assetResponsibilitiesAct as the central point of contact between employees on leave and Irving Health Services Disability ManagersComplete employer documentation (STD, WCB forms, payroll details, functional job descriptions) to minimize delaysCoordinate safe and timely return to work plans, including accommodations, progress reports and compliance with provincial/state WCB requirementsReview and enhance departmental return to work programs to reduce lost‑time incidentsLiaise with provincial and state workers’ compensation boards and manage related documentationDevelop and maintain leave practices for occupation and non‑occupational illness/injury (e.g. sick leave, WCB, STD, LTD, FMLA) #J-18808-Ljbffr
