GREAT OPPORTUNITY for a Stack Tester Mississauga, ON. We are looking to start this position between $26.45/hr to $31.25/hr Canadian DOE. The Role Project Scientist I (Environmental Field-Testing Technician) is an entry-level position that involves conducting air emissions testing for industrial clients. A candidate must be willing to work outdoors or in industrial environments through a teamwork-based approach as part of a test crew, travel on a weekly basis in a company vehicle, visit customer sites to perform testing projects, work with heights on a platform, and climb smokestacks ranging from 50 to 300 ft. The role supports basic aspects of a testing project including equipment preparation, deployment, staging/breakdown, sample collection and recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site field testing &transport testing equipment to customer sites Prepare equipment and ensure quality assurance Represent the company professionally at customer sites and in the office Follow all test methods, procedures, and processes as trained to ensure quality source testing Apply mechanical and electrical skills while troubleshooting testing systems Deploy, stage, and break down equipment Collect samples Qualifications Preferred background in environmental response/sample collection, mechanical, construction, or electrical work fields. Experience with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ADOBE products/tools is highly valued.
