Responsibilities:Reporting to the accountable Section Manager to provide Project Engineer support for in-field project execution supportManage and co-ordinate technical support of multiple projects simultaneouslyEnsure work is completed to required technical standardsCoordinate with Work Management, Supply Chain, Trades FLM's, Engineering, Operations, Safety, Waste Management, Environment and other stakeholders to assist implementation of projects from concept through execution, commissioning and return to serviceManage assigned project deliverables on schedule and budgetInterface with the client to assist them with project requirements, metrics, and reportingLiaise with staff, contractors, consultants and vendor resources as appropriateEnsure project documentation is updated throughout project life-cycle in compliance with client procedures and expectationsCoordinate Constructability, Operability Maintainability and Safety (COMS) review meetings Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in EngineeringA Professional Engineer of Ontario (PEO), or eligible for PEO statusExperience in solving problems, providing advice and guidance, making recommendations during the design, commissioning and operation of a nuclear facilityStrong leadership skills and high degree of accountability and engagementFamiliarity with relevant codes and standards is desired, along with a strong understanding of and commitment to meeting superior quality assurance requirementsFlexibility to perform work over a wide range of areas for both operating and refurbishment facilitiesExcellent written and oral communication, time management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and presentation skillsA high degree of initiative, self-motivation, flexibility and the ability to work with minimal guidance in a team environmentAbility to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines and heavy workloadsAttention to detail and accuracy Plusses:Working knowledge of the systems at a nuclear power plant, solid knowledge of nuclear power plant engineering change control processKnowledge and/or experience with CANDU nuclear technologyBruce Power and/or OPG Security ClearanceExperience with field execution of designsExperience in procurement engineering
