Our team partners with architects, designers, and builders to deliver innovative, sustainable, and beautiful flooring solutions for commercial and residential projects. The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Outside Design Sales Consultant with proven experience selling flooring or interior finishes within the architecture and design (A&D) industries. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, highly motivated, and eager to develop deep technical expertise across all flooring materials—understanding composition, durability, and ideal applications. Over time, you’ll become a trusted subject matter expert with comprehensive product knowledge and strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Execute proactive outreach via email, phone, messaging, and LinkedIn to engage new clients and understand their project needs. Evaluate project requirements to recommend suitable flooring solutions. Demonstrate persistence and professionalism in developing new business through cold and warm outreach. Deliver exceptional customer experiences through polished, consultative communication. Use CRM software and sales tools to manage your pipeline, client relationships, and project activity. Represent Relative Space at company and industry events, acting as a brand ambassador and promoting our design‑driven solutions. Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships within the A&D community. Qualifications Proven track record selling to the architecture and design (A&D) community — this is a must‑have. Minimum 5 years of sales experience, ideally in flooring, building materials, or interior products. Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, design, architecture, or a related field (asset). Passion for design, aesthetics, and innovative materials. Strong team player with a self‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
