Job Title AltaGas - Financial Analyst (6 Month Term) Overview Join AltaGas in an exciting temporary opportunity with the potential to become a permanent role for the right person Support the delivery of key budgeting and forecasting presentations, leveraging your strong analytical skills and curiosity to understand business drivers. Attention to detail and data visualization are essential as you transform data into meaningful insights for senior leaders. Responsibilities Assist delivery of key presentation materials for the consolidation of the enterprise annual budget and monthly outlooks for senior management and Board of Directors Gather financial and non‑financial information to validate key business drivers and financial results amongst various business segments Support financial reporting, outlooking, and budgeting activities Act as liaison with multi‑disciplinary teams, including Investor Relations and Corporate Development, to ensure data requirements are met and provide financial and non‑financial data Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables with a focus on EBITDA, capital expenditure, and DD&A results Work closely with different parts of the business, building strong relationships and demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in accounting Critical thinking and analytical skills Ability to effectively mine source data Ability to quantify and analyze performance data with attention to detail Team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displaying a high sense of urgency Detail‑oriented, curious, and driven to learn about the business Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams Working towards or holds a CPA designation Benefits Contribute to budgeting and forecasting that informs senior leadership and Board‑level decisions This 6‑month term offers exposure to enterprise‑wide financial planning and the potential to transition into a permanent role Be part of a collaborative culture focused on integrity, operational excellence, and continuous learning in a leading North American energy company Equal Employment Opportunity For Canadian hires: AltaGas hires personnel on the basis of job‑related qualifications.
