This position is based in British Columbia and focuses on developing engineering solutions in water treatment that comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations.OverviewAs part of our British Columbia Water Team, you will contribute to the design, modeling, and optimization of water treatment systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, compliant solutions for clients and communities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the modeling and simulation of water treatment processes using advanced computational tools.Ensure designs comply with applicable environmental regulations and standards.Assess existing water treatment systems and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative water treatment solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submissions.Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, clients, and community members, on project developments and compliance matters.Assist with planning and pursuit of new business opportunities.Apply creativity, foresight, and mature judgment to anticipate and solve complex technical problems.Provide visible industry and technical leadership within and outside of AECOM.Qualifications
