This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to contribute to various accounting and administrative functions while developing their skills in a collaborative and professional environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices and reconciliation of vendor accounts for a large group of companiesAssist in managing accounts receivable, including timely invoicing and collectionsReconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptlyAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual audit processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standardsCollaborate on special projects and provide financial data to support key initiativesAssisting in reconciliations of GL accounts and subledgersPerform other related tasks as required to support the finance department's operationsQualifications2+ years of experience in accounts payable, receivable, or general accounting administrationProficiency in accounting software (experience with Xero would be an asset)Bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or a related fieldProficiency in Excel and strong analytical skillsExceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficientlyWhat We Can OfferA pretty cool work environment – just ask any of our current staffYou've got the skills for the job and deserve proper compensation We offer competitive salaries so you can bring your best self to work.We offer health insurance, including dental and EFAP, as well as a health and wellness program and Group RRSP with employer matching.High-performing people need a healthy balance.
