Job Description Position: Optical Associate – 12‑month contract (full‑time). Working 30–40 hours a week, Monday to Saturday at FYidoctors LaSalle clinic. We are seeking experienced retail customer‑service professionals passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You will be the first point of contact, responsible for welcoming patients, guiding them through eyewear selections, and ensuring a positive clinic experience. What Will You Be Doing? Welcoming patients into the clinic and providing excellent customer service. Educating clients about the best eyewear for their lifestyle and guiding them in frame selection. Interpreting optical prescriptions written by an optometrist. Performing frame and facial measurements, repairs, and adjustments. Placing contact‑lens orders and assisting with fittings. Communicating with patients in person, by phone, and by email. Billing patients, medical service providers, and other third parties. Managing appointment bookings, prescription printouts, billing, and payments. What Do You Bring? Previous experience in a customer‑facing, preferably retail, environment. Optical experience is an asset. Passionate about customer service and patient care. Comfortable using technology and computers. Excellent communicator and team player.
